Celebrating Life after loss
Loretta F. Baker is proud to lead Jubalive. Jubalive’s mission is to work with
individuals, organizations, and communities in creating a society that is
strengthened and empowered by managing life after losses. Through its
initiatives, Jubalive will lead efforts to increase communication and
understanding of the impact of losses on their lives. Participants may learn
how grief results from societal issues and their backgrounds. Through
managing losses, participants may become motivated to address some of the
important systemic issues that accompany multiple losses.
We accomplish this through our 12-week group classes offered to adults and
high school students. A special 7-week group class, “When Children Grieve,”
is designed for adults who work with children and youth. One on one classes
are provided as 7-week programs.
Jubalive Grief Recovery® Outreach classes will be funded through fees for
service, contracts, and grants, along with business and individual
sponsorships. Also, we encourage collaboration in the form of publicity and
referrals.
